Although the Naga is a creature of volcano and desert magic, he is considered a guardian of the water in those lands and they prefer to live near oases or springs. Their magic can manifest as something of a mirage, creating a distracting illusion for the unwary observer or antagonist. Their favorite illusion is to give themselves extra heads, which are all as quick as cobras. In general, avoid making references to snakes in a Naga’s presence, as it is easy to insult them accidentally. And never step on his tail!
