Like Mermaids, these creatures enjoy sunbathing, though they refuse to go within a mile of large bodies of water and do not get along with creatures of beach magic. Basts are very proud and slightly vain, characteristics attributed to their felinesque appearance. The easiest way to approach them is with flattery and a ball of twine.
